The bags are nice. It includes a clip to help seal the opening, and it has decent thickness. The zip-lock opening spans the longest edge of the bag. That makes it easier to fit wide items into the bag, but it makes the bags feel shallow. Personally, I would rather have a deeper bag.The pump feels cheap, but it is entirely functional. It screws down on the opening and forms a tight seal. It doesn't move a ton of air so it takes quite a few pumps to remove all the air from the bag. Once you're done pumping, you unscrew the pump from the bag, and cap it. So far, the bags that I've used have had good seals and have stayed deflated. Overall, a great value, despite my concerns about the pump.

I am a huge fan of vacuum bags for storage. Our house was built in the 1940's and the closet space is pretty much zero. We have to store creatively. Being able to store not just seasonal items, but items that aren't used often, like particular clothing (interview outfits or for specific dress codes), guest towels, tablecloths, etc... even stuffed animals or pet toys that are bought in advance as backup pieces, it saves SO much space. I actually sprang for one of the little hand-held vacuum pumps, though the manual one works fine. I have reviewed that elsewhere. If you're doing a mass storage at season change, I recommend the rechargeable pumps (they're only about 4"x6"x2") unless you have kids that love using the hand pump, it saves time.I used to only use these for major seasonal stuff, but that's changed; they're so much easier to work with than the older ones I use them weekly.

I just got this and it works well! I have some clothing items I need to move from my closet into storage and this is the perfect solution (until I figure out what I want to do with the clothes). It comes with several size bags and the pump. The pump is just like a bike tire pump. After reading the directions included in the box, I first used the largest bag. It comfortably held four pairs or women's dress pants (it could have probably held one or two more pairs). After sealing the bag and squeezing out the air (and replacing the cap), it vacuumed down the pants in a breeze. I then used a medium sized bag for two dresses (these dresses are lined and thick material dresses) and that's all that could fit. Again, after vacuuming the air out, the amount of space saved is great!I don't need it for travel but I presume one could use it as the bags and the pump are plastic (meaning light and easy to travel with). Overall, I'm really happy with these space saving bags

These vacuum seal bags are a bit smaller than I’d have liked, however-they work! I was able to store quite a a bit in the larger bags, as well as the other sizes..a bit more than I thought when I initially saw how big they were.I absolutely like how sturdy they feel, as the plastic feels very thick and not likely to rip or puncture easily. The suction tool that comes with it is super easy to apply, remove the excess air and then remove it to place the cap on the bag for sealing. The clips help ensure the bags are closed, but I didn’t keep them on because they slip off easily. I only used one sliding clip to close all the bags I used and put it aside. I also appreciate that it came with an extra set of bags in case there were defects in any other bags. That was a pleasant surprise for me!Overall, these are great for maximizing storage space, are very functional, super easy to use, and seem to be very durable. Well worth their cost!

These bags arrived in its own product packaging. Inside the box you receive: 4 x bags containing 3 vacuum bags (small, medium & large), 1 x hand pump, 4 x packs of 3 sealing clips and instructions. This is the perfect set for reducing the volume of your clothes when travelling. Allowing for weight this will enable you to fit a lot more clothes in your luggage. These are very easy to use. Just place an item of clothing in a bag ensuring there is at least a couple of inches of space around the garment and the bag edge. Take one red sealing clip and slide it across the tracks at the top of the bag squeezing the clip together as you go to ensure the bag is closed. There is a gray dial in the middle of the bag which has a dial showing an arrow to open or close. Turn the dial to open and place the hand pump over the gray dial. As you pump you will notice the bag shrinking as the air is taken out. Once you have taken as much air out as you can, take off the hand pump and quickly turn the dial to the closed position to keep the air out. I also tried my electric pump which also worked. Price wise this is very reasonable and I highly recommend this product.
